Despite the similarities, Bob Marley’s “Buffalo Soldier” was probably not “inspired” by The Banana Splits. There is no denying, however (and no publishing credit either) that LL Cool J snagged the riff for “I’m Bad,” the opening cut off his second album, from the theme to Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse.
Not that this is important, but I just thought of it and naturally, we have some great evidence from YouTube.
