KGNU Boulder is a station I have been in contact with for a long time.  It is community staffed and probably has very few staff members under 30.  Many of the programs are typical fare, reggae, blues, bluegrass, jazz, etc., and not much hip hop or metal.  KGNU has built themselves into a force in a great town, however, and their influence is still growing, with a Denver frequency added a few years ago.

And Fela’s son Femi Kuti is #1 this week, so it seemed like a good time to feature KGNU.  They are a particularly diverse station, with world music taking a greater role here than most places.
