Willie Nelson made a great appearance in the New Yorker in a cartoon by Paul Noth. Willie can hang with anyone, and here he is shown chowing with the Founding Fathers. He’s known many politicians, including a few Presidents, and probably had ribs with them too. It’s a totally believable scene like the caption says.
“Anachronism or not, it just ain’t the Fourth without the ribs and Willie Nelson.”
